tagliando

The Future Trial Racing Team was a strong presence at the 3 days of Valtellina. Our 22mt truck was there too, and we “shared” it with all Montesa owner and Future customer.

We have offered a engine oil and filter and clutch oil  change at a special price (70€), and we have done a special discount on special parts and spare parts.

This operation was very succesful, a lot of Montesa was been “pampered” by our technician.

Special thanks to our old a new customers!

Racing Clutch Oil

Tuesday, August 4th, 2009

In this week the future Trial’s techician wants to talk about the clutch oil.

The Future Trial Racing Team has developed in the past a high performance clutch oil, which is specific for Montesa Cota 4RT but is also suitable for all other trials bike.

The original oil is replaced with that one which is called RT-66.

Let’s ask to our best rider Fabio Lenzi what does really change using this lubrificant.

There are a few but important things to say about clutch oil.

· It makes the clutch more “flexible and more accurate”.

· When the clucth is stressed the RT-66 avoid the clutch disk blowing  so you don’t have to adjust the lever.

· It makes the clutch more constant, either hot or cold

· It improves the “life” of the disk.

It is advised to change the oil even 15-20 our or after 5-6 races.

Tyre Pressure

Thursday, July 2nd, 2009

Vaccaretti talks about lowered fuel tank

Thursday, June 25th, 2009

Montesa’s aesthetic line is one of the top wanted and it has changed the trial’s bike style in the last year.
The only thing we don’t like is the fuel tank; it’s “ugly” and for a racing use it doesn’t work good.

So the Future Trial Racing Team propose the lowerd fuel tank solution.

Let’s ask to the kindest driver Andrea Vaccaretti how the fuel tank will be modiefied.

tut-mondiale(look the fuel tank)

“This tuning consists in the removing the upper shell which it will be replace by a new flat shell. We also replace the standard fuel pump support with a machined from solid one and the std fuel hose with a carbon one. Besides aesthetics improvements you will have a weight savings  of 650gr with the alu7076 venting fuel cap. (more…)

Rear shock Tuning

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

This week the Future Trial Racing Team tehnician wants to talk about rear shock modification.

The rear shock is been produced in assembly line so one shock could be different by another. This difference is made by air in the oil tank.

That’s why we advise to take the rear shock to someone who is able to check it up. A human eye is better than a robot!

So we have developed a specific tunig for the rear shock.

The modified rear shock is used in the italian championship by Andrea Vaccaretti.

mono-professional

Let’s ask somethi9ng to him.

What tipe of rear shock do you usually use?

“I always use the standard Showa modified in the hydraulics  and with  different ruber bump. This tuning is called “Professional”.

What are the difference that you have noticed  between your rear shock and the standard one?
“The most difficoult situation for a rider is a wet path; here the Professional rear shock done its best. Better grip on rocks and less vibration on the footpegs.

The bike is always easy to drive in a lot of mud or in a stream, I have a better feeling with the rear wheel. (more…)

The Brake system for a “Rider” point of wiew

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

All our most affectionate customer will certainly remember the Future Carbon Hoses article.  For those who don’t remember it click this link=> Click here

We are all able to understand number or loss of weight…but what does really change in the driving style? Let’s ask it to our official rider Andrea Vaccaretti.

“Andrea please describe your Racing brake system. ”

Let’s begin from the front brake : standard AJP pump, Future carbon hose, standard caliper and Red Galfer pad.b-020

Vaccaretti’s opinion about footrest

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

Many of our customers are undecided on the type of footrest to mount on own bike. So our Official rider Andrea Vaccaretti decided to answer some technical query.

What type of footrest do you usually mount on your HM Future 300?

I usually mount 8mm backward Future footrest.

Why mounting Future footrests?

Saturday, May 2nd, 2009

Do you ever think why the first modification of the most are aftermarket footrests?
